The Hotel Chelsea opened in 1884. It's a unique gem of a hotel and gives a fascinating glimpse into New York history. Easy to get to but feels like you're on the edge of the world. Less than a hour drive from Puerto Vallarta's international airport on a brand new expressway. Escape for even a 2-3 night stay, but a 4-6 nights is ideal.

Different weather patterns than Cabo or Cancun - check the forecast to make your choice!

An amazing destination year-round.

In winter, visit cute, authentic Christmas markets and enjoy a lively, celebratory atmosphere throughout the country. Madeira is famous for its New Year's Eve fireworks display!

If coming from the East Coast, can go for as few as 4-5 nights. To get introduction to the whole country including island areas like Madeira or the Azores, two weeks is ideal.

An especially great destination for wine lovers and foodies.

Some of our favorite hotels include Tivoli Kopke, The Reserve @ Savoy Palace and Saccharum on Madeira, the Valverde in Sintra, and Quinta da Pacheca and Quinta S. Jose do Barrilario in the Douro Valley.

Enjoyed amazing cuisine, including delicious vegan cuisine made specially for one of our travelers.

Cruises are a great first intro to Greece because they allow you to see several islands in a short amount of time. They're also nice for repeat Greece visitors like ourselves, if they include hard to get to locales. This cruise included the walled Byzantine castle town of Momemvasia, which is difficult to reach any other way.

Windstar has an exclusive relationship with the Turkish ruins of Ephesus allowing guests to enjoyo a private dinner within the archaeological site. No other group allows private access like this.
